Amar Priganica

Amar Priganica is a Vienna-based composer, guitarist and organist. His work draws on sacred musical idioms and on the systematic layering of material to create densities, harmonic shifts and psychoacoustic effects that oscillate between intimacy and abundance.
In his dissertation at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, he investigates the invasive and transformative potential of sound across a field ranging from sono-liturgical orders to contemporary electroacoustic music.
Priganica writes solo and ensemble works and composes for theatre and film.
