Anderinna Gooch



Anderinna Gooch is an Irish composer, audiovisual artist and sound designer based in Donegal. Her work brings together electroacoustic composition, fixed media, moving image, sound design and field recording, with a focus on landscape, memory, perception, natural environments and the relationship between sound and image.
Her practice moves between microscopic detail and immersive atmosphere, transforming organic materials into layered sonic and visual environments. Through texture, resonance, abstraction and place, she creates works that invite close listening and explore how sound can reshape our experience of memory, landscape and the natural world.
Her work has been presented and selected internationally, including the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, Ondes Croisées Open Air Acousmonium in Chalon-sur-Saône, France, Festival Internacional de Videoarte de Morelia, Mexico, ClarinetFest, The Sheen Centre New York, Signal Flow Festival Derry and Sonorities Festival Belfast. In 2026, her audiovisual work Natural Abstractions II is programmed for hcmf// Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and will be presented at the RMA-SMI-EADH Annual Conference at Queen’s University Belfast / Sonic Arts Research Centre. She is also developing a new work for Dr Sarah Watts for Sound festival, Aberdeen.
Gooch holds an MSc in Music Technology from the University of Ulster and a BSc in Music Technology from Queen’s University Belfast. She is currently developing Na Cruacha, a new audiovisual and musical project exploring folklore, language, cultural heritage and the Donegal landscape, supported through Ealaín na Gaeltachta and developed with local Irish-language partners in An Clochán, Co. Donegal, Ireland..
