Cristian Argento

Cristian was born in Catania in 1998 and began making music as a self-taught artist at the age of 14. His passion for new technologies applied to music developed during high school, where he studied electronics and computer science, complemented by extracurricular courses in electronic music. After graduating, he chose to turn his passion into a profession and enrolled at the Conservatory of Palermo, where he graduated in Electronic Music in the class of Giuseppe Rapisarda.
His compositions have been selected and performed at numerous international festivals and events across multiple continents. His works have been featured in Melbourne, Sydney, Boston, Newcastle, Daegu, Quito, Cuernavaca, Grenoble, Chalon-sur Saône, New York, Niterói, Hjorted, Penticton, among others. His music has also been broadcast on international radio stations and presented through both physical and virtual installations.
He received a Special Mention at Ars Electronica Forum Wallis 2025 and his work has been published on the NAISA Deep Wireless 20 album.
