Gerardo Dirié, Argentinian composer, Head of Music Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane, Australia. Studies of Music Composition at the Nacional University of Córdoba, in Buenos Aires and Indiana University, where he received his Ph.D. His electronic and instrumental music, theatre and dance projects are performed in the United States, Latin America, Europe, recently also in India, Malaysia and Turkey. He received Grants for his studies of Contemporary Music and Mathematics. Several international Awards and Honorary Mentions, as the Nissim ASCAP Award and the First Prize of the ‘Tribuna de Música Electroacústica Argentina’, among others.
