Jana Kluge




German multimedia artist, born in Willebadessen/Westphalia, lives in Paris and Bremen, studied psychology, philosophy, sociology and art in Hildesheim and Hanover in the 1970s, diploma in sociology. Beginning of her artistic career in 1977 with abstract painting and experimental poetry in Hanover and in Cadaques, Spain. Temporary stays abroad in Argentina since 1997. Curator of multimedia projects with the ministry of Science and Culture Hanover (1997), and the Goethe Institute Córdoba, Argentina (2010/2018), among others. Solo and group exhibitions in Germany, France, Spain, Argentina, Japan, Switzerland and the USA. 1997 Beginning of exhibitions & sound installations in collaboration with composers of electroacoustic music. Since 2005 development of experimental digital works printed on paper. Since 2010 development of audiovisual works.
